Where is my claim rep?
Claims reps are in our area and every insurance company is going to assign claims to the independent claim representatives
Most of them are being assigned hundreds of claims
At this time if your roof is tarped and you prevented further damage just remain patient until your claim rep contacts you
There is nothing anyone can do to make your claim rep get to your home quicker
Can I make temporary repairs before the claim rep inspects my home?
Yes the standard time frame of the expected claim rep appointment has been delayed
Appointments could extend over 30 days now
You need to do whatever you can to prevent further damage
You need to tarp your roof if damaged, cut away sheetrock, pull up wet carpet or damage flooring
Just make sure you don’t throw away any debris
Please use the side of your home or backyard to keep the debris for when the claim rep does arrive at your property
All temporary expenses to prevent further damage to your home you will submit the invoice, receipts to your assigned claim rep
